A 20-year-old woman distinguished a Chinaza Onwuasoanya, has been arrested by the Special Armed Robbery Squad, SARS, in Anambra State for affirmed youngster trafficking.
Onwuasoanya, apparently began the illegal business when she sold her undesirable child young lady to one Goodness, a 45-year-old lady, for N150,000.
After which she moved into full-time kid trafficking.
Relating her excursion into kid trafficking, Onwuasoanya told the Sun,
“I got into kid trafficking two years back. I have sold 20 male and female kids to Madam Goodness who works the shelter. She paid me amongst N150,000 and N200,000 for each infant I sold to her.
“I became acquainted with her when I ended up noticeably pregnant and brought forth a young lady on October 4, 2013. After I conveyed the infant, a companion acquainted me with Madam Goodness. I took my little girl to her and she gave me N150,000.00, to deal with myself.
“After that time, I chose to go into youngster trafficking by abducting kids returning from school or getting them on the road.
“At that point, I would take them to Madam Goodness. What\’s more, she would offer them amongst N150,000 and N200,000. Be that as it may, I was captured on May 1, 2017, when I stole an arrangement of twins at a home in Onitsha and took them to my home. All of a sudden the father of the twins followed me to my home and accompanied policemen and I was captured.”
Onwuasoanya who hails from Ebenebe, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, admitted to being an individual from the posse of looters who slaughtered two policemen, Inspector Shuaibu Usman and Sergeant Julius Matthew, of Police Mobile Force on 29 of February, 2017 at Nkpor fly-over, Onitsha and took their AK-47 rifles, which were later used to confer burglaries in Nkpor, Obosi, Ogidi, Nkpor Old Road, Awka, Oye-agu.
